In our Volcano Series solid fuel front furnace steam boilers, in order to provide a sufficient heat transfer area for solid fuel combustion, they are designed by adding a front furnace made of a water tube bundle in front of a traditional 3-pass Scotch type smoke/flame tube steam boiler. Our boilers are designed for a minimum of 4,500 kcal/h (flame temperature 1200 C°) based on the fuel. Please contact our company to burn lower calorie fuel.

In our front furnace boilers, we incorporate bluff and flanged cleaning in the lower collectors. By calculating the boiler heat load meticulously, we ensure an optimum distribution of heat load across the boiler heating surface area. The addition of the front furnace effectively addresses the challenge of providing sufficient heat transfer surface encountered during solid fuel applications in standard gas/liquid fueled steam boilers. With the elimination of the need for extra heating surface and furnace, our front furnace boilers significantly enhance solid fuel burning efficiency compared to traditional 3-Pass Scotch Type Boilers.

Upon request, our solid fuel boilers can be equipped with an automatic ash discharge and automatic lignite coal loading system. Thanks to their large water and steam volume, they excel in demanding and continuous working conditions, as well as sudden steam demands. Furthermore, their extensive heating surface area facilitates the generation of drier and higher energy steam.

At Nimatek Technologies, our solid fuel front furnace steam boilers incorporate 5 different safety systems, including Steam Temperature, Mechanical Pressure, Digital Pressure, Safety Valve, and Chimney Temperature Controls, with all safety systems and boiler feed pumps provided as a standard double package.

With optional features such as PLC Touchscreen control and Modbus RTU, you have complete control over your boiler’s operation. Our products operate quietly and do not contribute to noise pollution. The primary air, facilitated by a fan, ensures controlled and clean combustion, minimizing emissions.

The ash pit and furnace are designed in a corrugated manner for enhanced strength and resistance to thermal stresses, in line with pressure values. Additionally, our boilers feature mirror-welded smoke tubes for safer and longer-lasting operation. With robust insulation using glass wool or stone wool, heat loss is minimized.
